Alex Sinner # Bio I am a technology leader with 17+ years at Amazon and AWS where I have led marketplace expansions for amazon.it and amazon.es, built the AWS cloud business in BeNeLux as the first Solution Architect, and directed innovation labs at AWS with global scope. Prior to Amazon, I was an AI researcher and entrepreneur. I hold a master's degree in computer science and completed Stanford's LEAD executive education program. The combination of technical depth, innovation leadership, and global scale has given me a unique vantage point on how technology transformations work (or don't work).

I live in Luxembourg with my family which includes our dog Loki and our cat Cute. I enjoy tinkering with my 3D printer, reading graphic novels, and playing table tennis. I also like cheese.

Focus

Through my experience, I have identified 3 key ingredients that determine whether innovation initiatives succeed or fail: clarity of vision, sponsorship, and execution. I am sharing my reflections, observations, and insights to help technology leaders make better decisions.
